Trinity Sunday 2019

Passage: John 16:5-15

Bible Text: John 16:5-15 | Preacher: Ed McNeill | Trinity Sunday is the Sunday following Pentecost in the church calendar followed by most Christians around the world. It is a day we focus on and explore the mystery of the Trinity. How we can worship God as singular and triune. Three persons, One being. In this sermon Ed McNeill doesn’t attempt to explain this mystery that at the end of the day we affirm and confess that we don’t really understand. What we know is that Jesus is God. The Father is God. The Holy Spirit is God. We experience God as we live lives of faith and grow in understanding as we grow in relationship with God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Along with discussing the Trinity, Ed explains why the Gospels we have can be read with confidence as the words the authors wrote. The Gospels are the reliable expressions of the teachings of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.  It’s a good sermon. Have a listen. Leave a comment. Enjoy.
