Christ Church is an Anglican Church and has interactive worship that is sometime called Liturgical. We provide everyone with a printed bulletin that contains the entire service when we meet in person. During Zoom services the bulletin is placed on the screen. We celebrate Holy Communion on Sundays we gather for in person worship and “Spiritual Communion” on Sundays we meet via Zoom.

Our next in person service is on Sunday July 19th, 9:30 am at the Royal Hawaiian Golf Club. As long as Coronavirus is an issue we need to deal with we will be practicing social distancing during our worship service. Chairs will be spaced out in clusters. People of the same household can sit together without social distancing. The result will be a very unusual looking church!

Everyone is asked to wear a mask while entering the worship space. Once in your chairs you are welcome to either keep your mask on or to remove it. This is the same practice undertaken in restaurants. When coming up for communion we ask that social distancing be practiced as well as you are able. Holy Communion will be in one kind. This means that communion will be in bread only. There will not be a common chalice during the pandemic. This is not the first time the church has had communion in one kind. This has happened many times over the history of the church. Communion in one kind is considered full communion. Indeed, many people who desire to not drink alcohol receive communion in bread only.

We hope you come and visit us and hope that Christ Church can be part of your Ohana.
